How commissions work with your fee: Hotels pay Kingfisher a commission on actualized room revenue. At Team and Summit tier volumes, this commission typically meets or exceeds the engagement fee. We are always transparent about commissions earned and will never recommend a property based on commission yield over client fit. Our fee ensures that recommendation is never in question.

Referral credit: Premier Club members receive a 5% membership credit for each qualified referral that books within the current membership year. Company members who enroll a referred company receive the credit applied to their renewal. Rate lock guarantee: Founding company members who enroll before December 31, 2026 lock in today's per-traveler rate for three full renewal years.

How Kingfisher is compensated
Room Blocks
We earn a commission paid directly by hotels on actualized room revenue — at no cost to you above the standard rate. Our engagement fee covers advisory work independent of commission, so our property recommendations are never influenced by which hotel pays more.
Premier Club
Your annual membership fee is our compensation. We also earn supplier commissions on bookings made for Premier Club members, which does not increase your booking cost — these are paid by hotels and suppliers directly to us.

You pay the same rate you'd pay directly with a hotel — and in most cases less, thanks to Virtuoso and Fora preferred rates. Our fee structure ensures our incentives are always aligned with your outcomes, not with supplier revenue.
