Schelli looks after the part of travel most people never see: the sequence of small decisions between a good idea and a week that actually works. Rooming, timing, the order of the days, the alternate plan nobody ends up needing.

Kari begins every journey with the conversation rather than the catalog. What is the trip for? Who is it really for? From there she designs deliberately, shaping each day around how you want to feel — a room chosen for the morning light, a drive taken the long way, a table booked because the owner will remember your name. Her conviction is simple: true luxury is personal, never performative.

She leads how Kingfisher speaks and who it speaks to, and she plans the milestone journeys and cruises that make up much of our work — with a particular depth in Europe and at sea.

She is a firm believer that the best day of a trip is usually the one with the least on it.
